Our desires and aversions — no matter how innocent, how appropriate, how natural, how "good" — inevitably lead to suffering. This is the Buddhist view. Does it follow that we must eliminate desire and aversion? Is this even possible? How can we work with this? We will explore these and more questions.
Designed for meditators with an ongoing practice, the class will begin with a 30-minute meditation period followed by interaction between practitioners and the teacher.
Beginning meditators are welcome provided they come to the first class on March 7 to receive basic instruction.
